N O T I C E


Sub:    Enhancement of Draft at various berths for the month of October 2013


          With reference to our earlier notice regarding permissible draft at various Berths, the draft at following berths are hereby temporarily enhanced as follows for the month of October 2013 considering prevailing weather and tidal conditions:

Note:  1.       The above notice is purely temporary and can be withdrawn at any time
                   without prior information due to sudden change in weather condition.

2.       Draft for other days for above berths and draft for other berths shall remain as per the original notification No.:MD/SHS/TECH-26/2013/771 Dt.17.04.2013.

3.         In addition to the above, vessels with beam size upto 38.00 Mtrs. may also be accepted for berthing at CQ-1, SQ, EQ-1, EQ-2, IOB & CB-1 at permissible LOA & draft for the berth during favourable weather conditions.

No Dues Certificate from Port authorities by Importers/Exporters for berthing of vessels

All Importers and Exporters are required to obtain a No Dues Certificate from Traffic Department of Paradip Port Trust for allowing their vessels to berth. The No Dues Certificate is to be presented in the daily DTR meeting for the respective Importers or Exporters for the ships carrying their cargo.

Note: 1. Minimum Permissible Draft for SQ is temporarily declared as 12.50 Mtrs. for
entire month of May-2013.

2. Berthing of vessels at CQ-1 with 14.50 Mtrs. Draft shall be carried out during high Water of tide at least 1.5 Mtrs.


3. The above notice is purely temporary and can be withdrawn at any time
without prior information due to sudden change in weather condition.

4. This shall be reviewed again towards the end of May 2013.


5. Draft for other days for above berths and draft for other berths shall remain as per the original notification No.:MD/SHS/TECH-26/2011/1539 Dt.24.08.2012.
